Abstract:Under the impact of the new type of coronary pneumonia, the Chinese performing arts industry, as an industry relying on offline traffic, is facing the dilemma of forced closure of performance space, forced cancellation or delay of performance activities, from the national theatres to performance companies and independent musicians. Performing arts activities will be completely suspended. In order to help the performing arts industry survive the crisis, the central and local governments have issued a series of relevant policies and support for taxation and job stabilization subsidies. However, there are still a large number of asset-light companies facing operational dilemmas. All performance industry chains have shifted their goals to online activities, try to transfer the show to channels such as live broadcast platforms, and realize traffic flow through brand cooperation and other methods. Although the online mode of the performing arts industry has previous cases, it has ushered in an outbreak under the epidemic. Despite many shortcomings, in the context of iterative upgrading of technological means, the future online business layout of the performing arts industry will become a new business format.
