The cultivation of patriotic struggling spirit of college students in the “micro-era” is not only the practical need to promote the cultivation of patriotic struggling spirit to keep pace with the times, but also the content of guiding college students to grow up into talents in the new era,and it is also the due meaning of focusing on the realization of the Chinese dream of great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. The most basic characteristic of the spirit of patriotic struggle is to transform the two value themes of “patriotism” and “struggle” into the practical theme of striving to serve the country under the guidance of devotion to family and country. The patriotic struggling spirit education of college students must also grasp the characteristics of “micro-era” and the group characteristics of contemporary college students, and uphold the new concept and methodology of “things-based, times-based, situation-based”. From the perspective of the actual situation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities in the “micro-era”, this paper grasps the characteristics of the contemporary college students themselves in the network era, analyzes the behavior of college students in the network space, and explores the effective path of cultivating patriotic struggling spirit under the background of “micro-era” by creating “micro-content”, seizing “micro-position”, purifying “micro-environment” and creating “micro-culture”.
