In the report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed to "build a socialist ideology with strong cohesion and leadership",and pointed out the direction,goals and principles for further ideological work in the new era.The socialist ideology has the theoretical characteristics of science and value,time and nationality,dominance and compatibility, so that it can have strong cohesion and leading power, in order to unite all people in ideals, beliefs, values, and ethics.However, we must also be soberly aware that the new risks and challenges facing the ideological field are increasing, and the cohesion and leading role of socialist ideology urgently need to be further improved and strengthened. To this end, we should use the party's advanced theories to arm the people in a timely manner,continue to enhance the discourse power of socialist ideology, continuously improve the level of Internet governance, strengthen the construction of ideological work teams, and effectively enhance the cohesion and leadership of socialist ideology.
