With the development and popularization of new media, varied culture landscapes in college students has come into being. The most obvious change is their cultural cognitive style and thinking and expressive modes. Based on relating social surveys among college students, this article canvasses the change and consequence of college student's writing under new media and studies the relationship between traditional literature writing and teaching and writing through new media. It's believed that the development of new media is still constrained by the traditional literature and writing form, although it brings great change to and profound influence on expressive usage of media and dissemination way of college students' writing. Literature and writing should go with the stream and bring the teaching of writing through new media into the teaching system.
